Mahasiswa Jurnalistik Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi FISIP UHAMKA Selenggarakan Seminar Lingkungan “Nature For Healing”

Mahasiswa Jurnalistik Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi FISIP UHAMKA (Malistika) menyelenggarakan Seminar dan Pameran Jurnalistik dengan tema “Nature For Healing” pada Selasa, 16 Juli 2019 di Aula lt. 4 UHAMKA Limau, Kebayoran Baru.

Acara seminar ini diselenggarakan oleh mahasiswa Jurnalistik untuk memenuhi mata kuliah Jurnalisme Lingkungan yang diampu oleh Dr. Sri Mustika. M.Si.

Seminar ini dibuka oleh Dekan FISIP UHAMKA Said Romadlan, S.Sos., M.Si. Dalam sambutannya beliau menyampaikan agar kegiatan ini bisa menjadi contoh karena dengan adanya seminar ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa.

“Dengan mengikuti kegiatan seperti ini memiliki dua dampak sekaligus yang pertama bahwa kegiatan ini bisa menumbuhkan kesadaran mencintai lingkungan contoh kecilnya adalah membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan tentunya itu menjadi tugas kita semua untuk mengingatkan. Kedua ini menarik bahwa mata kuliah-mata kuliah luarannya tidak semata-mata dalam bentuk tertulis tetapi dalam bentuk evaluasi akhir seperti dalam bentuk kegiatan seperti ini” ujar Said Ramadlan, S.Sos., M.Si

“Saat ini kita sama-sama mengikuti acara yang bukan dari HIMA, BEM, ataupun DPM tetapi oleh mahasiswa satu mata kuliah yang tentu saja ini bagus sekali” lanjut beliau

Menurut Said Ramadlan, S.Sos., M.Si kegiatan ini lebih bermanfaat daripada sekedar catatan-catatan ujian dan beliau juga berharap agar semua dosen dapat menciptakan budaya ini karena lebih bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa.

Ketua Pelaksana Fathur Rahman menyampaikan bahwa sesuai dengan tema seminar ini Nature For Healing kita harus bisa menjaga alam dari mulai hal kecil seperti membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan ia juga berharap agar setelah seminar ini peserta yang hadir dapat lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan dan menjaganya.

 

Seminar yang diikuti oleh lebih dari 100 peserta ini meghadirkan 3 pembicara yang mumpuni di bidangnya yakni Syaiful Rochman dari greeners.co yang membahas terkait kondisi lingkungan, Ketua Nocturnal Independent Danu Aqsal yang membahas terkait fauna khususnya reptil, dan Dicky Frasetya dari komunitas Musang Lovers Jakarta.

Selain itu di pameran ini juga dapat melihat karya-karya foto dari mahasiswa Jurnalistik, beragam tanaman obat keluarga serta mengetahui manfaat dari tanaman tersebut, dan dapat melihat hewan-hewan jenis reptil dari nocturnal independent dan berbagai jenis musang dari Musang Lovers Jakarta.
