Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Uhamka adakan kegiatan kajian diskusi mengenai buku yang berjudul Di Tepi Sungai Dajlah karya Buya Hamka melalui media Zoom Meeting yang dihadiri oleh dosen, mahasiswa, tenaga kependidikan , serta masyarakat umum. Acara ini disambut antusias dari para peserta yang hadir dalam berdiskusi mengenai sejarah Islam dan ilmu Agama dalam pembahasan yang disampaikan.
Kegiatan diskusi ini dilaksanakan pada Jum’at, 16 Juli 2021 dan dilakukan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom Meeting dikarenakan pemberlakuan dan pengetatan PPKM dalam mencegah penyebaran virus Covid-19 diwilayah Jabodetabek terutama di wilayah Jakarta. Kegiatan dimulai pada pukul 15.45 WIB setelah ba’da shalat ashar.
Kegiatan dibuka dengan salam oleh Heni Nuraeni selaku moderator dari acara. Dilanjutkan dengan salam dan pembukaan dari ketua dekan Uhamka Desvian Bandarsyah M. Pd lalu dilanjutkan dengan Hari Naredi selaku narasumber acara menyapa para partisipan dan memberi pengenalan mengenai topik diskusi kali ini.
Heni Nuraeni memperkenalkan pada partisipan mengenai buku yang akan didiskusikan kali ini bahwa, “sungai Dajlah adalah sebuah kisah Buya Hamka ketika menelusuri irak pada tahun 1950, dan saat itu Indonesia baru sepenuhnya merdeka dan membuat kagum Iraq.” Ujarnya selaku moderator pada pembukaan acara.
Desvian Bandarsyah selaku dekan FKIP menuturkan dalam sambutannya, “Umat Islam perlu belajar banyak dari sosok Buya Hamka, karena karya-karya bukunya yang sangat inspiratif dan bebahasa tajam juga khas dialeg beliau.” Ujarnya.
Dalam kegiatan ini, peserta disajikan tetang pemahaman informasi mendalam tentang Buya Hamka begitupun tentang bukunya yang berjudul Di Tepi Sungai Dajlah dengan maksud dan tujuan agar peserta khususnya Civitas Uhamka dapat mengetahui sosok Buya Hamka secara mendalam bukan hanya bekerja dan mengabdi saja di Uhamka.
