Program studi (Prodi) Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. HAMKA (Uhamka) mengadakan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) 160 Jakarta Timur.
Salah satu keunggulan dari prodi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Uhamka, yaitu di setiap semester terdapat mata kuliah nilai-nilai keislaman, dimulai dari Aqidah, Ibadah, Muamalah, Ilmu Falaq, Islam dalam perkembangan MIPA, Kemuhammadiyahan dan lainnya. Nilai-nilai keislaman ini mengkristal dalam bentuk Pancasila yang yang menjadi dasar negara Indonesia.
Enam dimensi pada profil pelajar pancasila dalam kurikulum merdeka belajar di antaranya ialah beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berahlak mulia, berkebhinekaan global, gotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis serta kreatif. Keenam dimensi tersebut diharapkan dapat melekat dan dimiliki oleh peserta didik.
Edi Supriadi selaku Dosen Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Uhamka sekaligus narasumber pada kegiatan tersebut menjelaskan bahwa proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di SMPN 160 Jakarta Timur yang diberikan merupakan aplikasi dari penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau Project Base Learning (PjBL) peserta didik.
Penerapan di lapangan harus bersifat kolaboratif di antara beberapa mata pelajaran, minimal dua mata pelajaran atau lebih. Sedangkan tema yang dipilih disesuaikan dengan tema yang terpilih oleh sekolah sebelumnya, untuk tingkatan SMP dituntut memilih 3 dari 7 proyek tema yang ada.
“Tujuh tema pilihan dari proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila ini ada Hidup Berkelanjutan, Kearifan Lokal, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Bangunlah Jiwa dan Raganya, Suara Demokrasi, Berekayasa dan berteknologi untuk membangun NKRI, dan Kewirausahaan,” jelasnya.
Setelah menentukan 3 proyek yang disepakati bersama, kemudian guru diberikan penjelasan mengenai format proyek, fasilitator, alokasi waktu proyek, penilaian dan pelaporan tentang proyek yang akan dibuat atau diberikan kepada peserta didik.
