Dosen Pendidikan Biologi dan Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Uhamka yang didukung oleh LPPM Uhamka mengadakan pelatihan berupa edukasi kesehatan reproduksi kepada Remaja Masjid dan Remaja Putri di RW 014 Klapanunggal. Kegiatan dilakukan secara offline dan online, dimana pada kegiatan offline diberlakukan protokol kesehatan yang sangat ketat.
Kegiatan yang diketuai oleh Rosi Feirina Ritonga MPd ini bertujuan mengedukasi dengan melatih remaja putri agar mengenal sistem reproduksi sehingga terbentuk sikap sadar terhadap kesehatan dan kebersihan organ reproduksinya.
Banyaknya kejahatan seksual dan terjadinya kehamilan sebelum menikah dikarenakan remaja putri, khususnya yang baru memasuki masa pubertas, belum memahami mekanisme kerja sistem reproduksinya dan seringkali mereka menganggap tabu untuk membicarakan kepada orang tua.
“Sudah seharusnya orang tua dan anak saling terbuka mengenai edukasi seksual, terutama mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Remaja putri yang baru memasuki tahap pubertas perlu diedukasi, bagaimana cara mengganti pembalut, seberapa sering pembalut harus diganti, dan hal-hal positif apa saja yang harus dilakukan setelah mengalami menstruasi. Jika bertanya dengan cara googling, maka yang ada bukan jawaban, melainkan hal-hal lain yang dapat berdampak negatif, jika tidak diawasi orang tua. Dan hal penting yang harus diingat ananda semua adalah, say no to sex before marriage” demikian dituturkan Pemantik Yulia Rahmadhar MPd selaku dosen Uhamka
Selanjutnya Rosi Feirina Ritonga MPd dalam pemaparan materi menyampaikan pemahaman konsep sistem reproduksi, bagian-bagian dalam sistem reproduksi, dimulai dari organ reproduksi bagian dalam dan bagian bagian luar, siklus menstruasi, hormon dan penyakit-penyakit pada sistem reproduksi sampai tips dan trik dalam menjadi kebersihan dan kesehatan sistem reproduksi. Narasumber juga memberikan arahan dan motivasi kepada remaja putri bagaimana menumbuhkan prilaku sadar dan peduli akan kebersihan dan kesehatan sistem reproduksi. Hal ini sangat penting diketahui mereka sebagai remaja putri yang baru memasuki usia pubertas.
Remaja putri terlihat sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir. Hal ini terlihat dari pertanyaan remaja putri bernama Melli yang menanyakan, “apakah ada pantangan makanan buat kami, remaja yang baru mengalami menstruasi”.
Ibu Aningsih, mewakili DKM dan Kepengurusan RW 014, menyampaikan rasa terimakasih kepada TIM dan LLPM Uhamka, karena bersedia hadir memberikan pemahaman kepada remaja masjid dan remaja putri yang ada dilingkungan mereka. Karena remaja masjid merupakan remaja yang sangat aktif dan memiliki banyak kegiatan dalam kemakmuran masjid. Pelatihan ini dianggap sangat bermanfaat. Beliau juga memohon maaf atas jamuan yang diberikan, mengingat kondisi pandemi saat ini. Besar harapan beliau agar TIM selalu sehat dan dapat mengadakan pelatihan berikutnya di RW 014.
