Kolaborasi dosen senior dan junior biologi berikan pelatihan metodologi penelitian untuk guru

Kamis (12/08) program studi pendidikan biologi uhamka mengadakan pelatihan dengan tema “metodologi penelitian (riset) untuk guru” dengan narasumber Dr. Budhi Akbar, M.Si dan Luthpi Safahi, M.Pd. keduanya adalah dosen senior dan junior biologi uhamka yang mengampu mata kuliah metodologi penelitian dan statistic. Kegiatan yang berlangsung mulai pukul 10.00 hingga siang ini dilakukan secara daring melalui zoom meeting dan live on youtube pendidikan biologi dan diikuti oleh 112 guru dan mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Peserta juga terdiri dari beberapa daerah, terpantau ada yang dari Jombang, Bojonegoro, Medan, Pati, Bantul dan daerah lainnya di Indonesia.

Dalam pembukaan yang dilakukan oleh dekan FKIP uhamka, Dr. Desvian Bandarsyah, M.Pd menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada peserta yang telah bergabung, rasa bangga pada biologi uhamka dan narasumber tak lepas dari sambutannya. “bapak ibu, penelitian atau riset merupakan hal yang tidak akan lepas dari dunia pendidikan,  setiap pendidik wajib hukumnya untuk melakukan suatu riset. Saya rasa sangat tepat sekali biologi uhamka mengadakan kegiatan ini” Ujar Desvian.

Pemaparan materi dipandu oleh Devi Anugrah, M.Pd selaku moderator. Sebelum materi pertama peserta dites pemahamannya terlebih dahulu dengan diberikannya soal pretes. Selanjutnya materi pertama pun dimulai. Peran guru dalam pembelajaran terintegrasi riset (siswa) adalah tema besar yang dibawakan oleh Dr. Budhi Akbar, M.Si. “menurut hasil riset TIMMS tahun 2015, Indonesia saat ini berada pada peringkat 4 terbawah dari 43 negara peserta mengenai kemampuan peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis, hal ini ada kaitannya dengan riset-riset yang dilakukan oleh guru. Apakah bapak ibu tiap semester melakukan riset? Sebenarnya mudah saja untuk melakukan riset ya, sama saja kok dengan kita dulu membuat skripsi. Yang pasti harus jelas latar belakang, perumusan masalah metologinya dan analisis data” terang Budhi.

Pernyataan tersebut diperkuat oleh Luthpi Safahi, M.Pd selaku pemateri kedua yang mengangkat tema statistika penelitian. “mudah saja bapak ibu kita dalam menganalisis data, sekarang banyak sekali software yang dapat kita manfaatkan untuk menghitung data, mulai dari microsoft excel, SPSS dan lain sebagainya. Hanya saja kita harus terampil menggunakan aplikasi tersebut” ujar Luthpi. 

Tepat pukul 13.00 diskusi dan tanya jawab selesai, peserta diminta mengerjakan postes untuk melihat sejauh mana penyerapan materi yang telah disampaikan narasumber. Dalam kolom chat di zoom meeting terlihat beberapa kesan yang disampaikan peserta, diantaranya Ridwan Muktamar dalam chat nya menuliskan “terimakasih pendidikan biologi uhamka dan para pemateri Alhamdulillah sangat bermanfaat”.
